Terms of Service Last Updated: March 2026 | UtilitySEO Ltd | Company No. 17055142 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by UtilitySEO Ltd ("we", "us", "our") through utilityseo.com and app.utilityseo.com (the "Services"). By creating an account or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

  1. Definitions

"Agreement" means these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy "Services" means the UtilitySEO website analysis and SEO insights platform "Subscription" means a paid plan (Pro or Pro Plus) that grants access to additional features "User Content" means any data, URLs, or information you submit to the Services "Free Plan" means the no-charge tier with limited functionality (1 scan per day)

  1. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services. By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where false information has been provided.

  2. Account Registration To access the Services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration Maintain and promptly update your account information Keep your password secure and not share it with any third party Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

  1. Subscription Plans & Billing 4.1 Plan Tiers

Free Plan: 1 website scan per day. No payment required. Pro Plan: 10 website scans per day. Billed monthly or annually. Pro Plus Plan: Unlimited website scans. Billed monthly or annually.

Scan limits reset at midnight UTC each day. Unused scans do not roll over. 4.2 Payment All paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable VAT. 4.3 Automatic Renewal Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email prior to each renewal. 4.4 Price Changes We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' written notice by email. Continued use of the Services after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

  1. Cancellation & Refunds 5.1 How to Cancel You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@utilityseo.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date. 5.2 14-Day Cooling-Off Period If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. However, by subscribing to a paid plan and ticking the acknowledgement checkbox at checkout, you explicitly request that we begin providing the Services immediately and acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel without charge once the service has commenced. If you cancel within 14 days and have not yet used any paid features, you may be entitled to a full refund. Contact support@utilityseo.com within 14 days of purchase to make a refund request. 5.3 Fraud Prevention & Cancellation Records To protect the integrity of our Services and prevent abuse of free trial or introductory offers, we maintain a cancellation record that includes your email address, Stripe Customer ID, card fingerprint, IP address at registration, and cancellation date. This data is retained for 3 years and is used solely for fraud prevention purposes. 5.4 No Refunds Outside Cooling-Off Outside the 14-day cooling-off period, all subscription fees are non-refundable except at our sole discretion or where required by law.

  2. Acceptable Use You agree not to use the Services to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations Scan websites you do not own or do not have permission to analyse Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Services Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to make excessive requests beyond your plan limits Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Services without our written consent Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data

Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

  1. Intellectual Property 7.1 Our IP The Services, including all software, designs, logos, text, and data compilations, are owned by UtilitySEO Ltd or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services solely for your internal business purposes. 7.2 Your Content You retain ownership of any URLs and data you submit to the Services. By using the Services, you grant us a limited licence to process your submitted URLs for the purpose of providing the analysis Services. We do not claim ownership of your data.

  2. Third-Party Services Our Services integrate with third-party providers including Google PageSpeed Insights. Website analysis scores may vary due to factors outside our control, including server geography and network conditions. We do not guarantee specific performance scores or results.

  3. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability 9.1 As-Is Service The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. 9.2 Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. 9.3 Consumer Rights Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  4. Termination We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent or unlawful conduct, fail to pay amounts due, or use the Services in a way that threatens the security or performance of the platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

  5. Governing Law & Disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to use online dispute resolution services or contact the Citizens Advice Bureau.

  6. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
