Raven Tools
Raven Tools states that it accepts credit card as its only form of payment, and that choosing the annual option means signing an annual contract. Raven Tools rank tracking lets users choose daily, weekly or monthly tracking, with mobile and local tracking by zip code or city. Raven Tools Small Business plan is limited to 2 domains or campaigns, 2 users and 1,500 position checks.
How Raven Tools tracks keyword rankings
From Raven's pricing page, checked in September 2026:
- Frequency: you choose daily, weekly or monthly tracking.
- Location and device: mobile tracking, and local tracking by zip code or city.
- Search engines: Google, Yahoo, Bing, Yandex and Baidu.
- Competitors: tracked keywords can be compared with competitors' rankings.
- Allowance: 1,500 monthly trackable keywords on Small Business, 15,000 on Start, then 20,000, 25,000 and 30,000 on the larger plans.
- Integrations: Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
One thing to check before buying: Raven's plan cards describe the Small Business allowance as 1,500 position checks. If a keyword tracked daily uses one check a day, that covers about 50 keywords tracked daily in a 30-day month, or about 350 tracked weekly. Ask Raven how checks are counted for the frequency you want.
Raven Tools keyword rankings compared with Search Console positions
Raven's rank tracker checks the results page for the keywords you choose, from the location and device you set. UtilitySEO takes a different route: its positions come from your Search Console data, which records where your pages actually appeared for real searches, averaged and split by country and device. Entrepreneur tracks up to 1,000 keywords per project; Enterprise tracks up to 10,000.
That covers every search you appear for, not only the ones you thought to add. It cannot check a keyword you do not rank for yet, and it does not go down to city or zip code level. If you need rankings by city, or on Bing, Yandex or Baidu, Raven covers that and UtilitySEO does not. If you want to see which searches you already appear for and how they are moving, Search Console data is the more complete view.
